Gesaffelstein - Pursuit [live cover on PO-32]

Gesaffelstein’s “Pursuit“, performed live on a Teenage Engineering PO-32 “Tonic“ Pocket Operator . I tried to be as close as possible to the original, combining both programmed patterns (used up all 16 of them) as well as live playing (used up 15 out of 16 sound slots, creating all sounds in Microtonic). The PO-32 has 16 sounds but only four channels, meaning that it takes some planning in order to perform it. But challenges are fun! Sound 13, 15 and 16 are silent - in order to have access to quick mutes.
