The 16th International Military Music Festival “Spasskaya Tower“

The 16th International Military Music Festival “Spasskaya Tower“, dedicated to the defenders of the Fatherland, opened on Red Square in Moscow Several thousand spectators gathered for the ceremonial event. The festival was opened by the Presidential Orchestra and the Special Guard Company of the Presidential Regiment. Foreign groups also participated, including the Military Orchestra of the People’s Liberation Army of China. The festival will last until September 1 and will bring together not only Russian musicians, but also orchestras from South Africa, Venezuela, Thailand, Turkey, China, Guinea and Belarus. The South African Air Force Orchestra and the first women’s orchestra in Africa, the “Amazons of Guinea“, will perform for the first time.
