Chevron is trying to criminalize those who fight for justice in Ecuador. Support Steven Donziger.
Human rights attorney Steven Donziger has been held unjustly in home detention for more than 18 months. His crime? Holding Chevron accountable for polluting the Amazon! Rather than pay the $9.5 billion it owes to clean up Ecuador, Chevron has spent millions to demonize Donziger and criminalize him for his work. This is a threat to anyone who works for environmental justice or corporate accountability. What is happening to Donziger has never before happened to a lawyer in the United States.
Join Artists for Amazonia, more than 50 Nobel Laureates, dozens of leading human rights and environmental organizations, and hundreds of human rights lawyers around the world calling for Donziger’s release. We must all stand together to defend Donziger’s right to work for justice in Ecuador. Please watch & share this video and take action at . Stand up for #environmentaljustice! #FreeDonziger
