SPRAWL

Parallel presents SPRAWL: a film and photo series by Andy Plumridge and Jarrod Thackeray. Set amongst the vibrant urban landscapes of Naarm (Melbourne) and Gadi (Sydney), this project documents a crew of skaters in their pursuit of reinterpreting the city’s architecture. Spanning from 2021 to 2023, the film combines digital and analogue mediums, accompanied by a hip-hop and jazz-oriented soundtrack, to capture the atmosphere of their skating experience.
