Flapping wing mechanism design (Wing Plunge, Pitch, and Glide/lead-lad motion)

In this design concept, four sets of crank-rocker linkage are used to achieve both flapping and spanning of a bird’s wing motion. A pair of rack and pinion at the hinge part of a wing drives the pitching motion of outer wing.
