Most resorts In Finland now cater for a whole range of experiences, from old style ’telemarking’ to the more recent fashion for snowboarding. Ski resorts have half-pipes for snowboarders and many also have snowboard streets with jumps and rails. Today, half-pipes and fun parks are included in the standard facilities of almost any winter sports resort. Many resorts employ specially trained instructors for those who have not yet discovered the thrills of snowboarding. Many ski schools even include Free Style - daring ski acrobatics - in their instruction programs.
