Mortal Kombat Developer Accused Of Abusive 100-Hour Work Weeks

NetherRealm Studios has been accused by multiple developers of severe crunch periods that lead to people working up to 100 hours a week. The Mortal Kombat developer is the latest in a line of studios credibly implicated as perpetrators of abusive crunch periods, where workers are expected to give up their lives for months at a time. It’s harmful, it’s unhealthy, and in NetherRealm’s case it may go beyond the coercion of other companies and be straight up enforced overtime on a disgusting level. Source
