The NEW West Michigan RR

It’s November 13th, 2015 and we’re in Hartford, Michigan. Today marks for the first run of the new West Michigan Railroad, which services one industry, Hanson Logistics, outside of town. This railroad has been in limbo over the last few years, with a lot of uncertainty of the future under the previous owner, Pioneer Rail Corp. We were invited to be on the property for this historic event, making this the first train ever to be filmed and the first in over eight years to be photographed on this branch line.
