BLACK CURSE! Noah’s flood, Ham, curses & Lies, !! Okeyo Jumal

Fairytales and folklore excite a child’s imagination, some tales are comic, some frightening. As a kid, I remember hearing a story that went something like this; “There was a great flood and Ham got turned black.” “That’s how Black people started and became slaves! It’s in the Bible!” When fairytales get twisted into religion, they become scripture, gospel,…the word of God according to the believers. Unlike the theologians who can allude to metaphysics and supernaturalisms to explain biblical stories, historians must investigate these stories with science and common sense. I‘m a historian…and questioning the Ham “thing”! This leads me to investigate the Old Testament story of Noah, a man, according to lore or scripture, who lived over 900 years and some time in his mid-life, he walked around the planet and collected two of every animal and put them on a boat!? Then Noah’s god, who obviously had anger management issues, flooded the earth and killed all living flush not on the boat
