Driving the Plymouth on the Alder Gulch Short Line in Virginia City Montana. The controls are fairly self explanatory. A note on my use of the brakes, with this set up the brake lever was only controlling the locomotive itself. I had a bet with my conductor that I could bring the train down the hill with out tipping over a 5/8 bolt we had standing on its head on the last car. Despite my excessive but oh-so-smooth breaking it fell over, but to my defense, as we crossed a switch so unrelated to me!
