Plumes of smoke seen as fire breaks out at east London business centre

A huge fire was raging in east London on Friday evening, with thick black smoke billowing into the air. About 100 firefighters were tackling the blaze, which started at a business centre in Fairfield Road in Bow. The London fire brigade described it as ’a very visible fire’ and said most of the roof of the six-storey building was alight.
