The More I See You was written by Mack Gorden and Harry Warren and was first published in 1945. Dick Haymes was the first to record it, also in 1945, for the film, Diamond Horseshoe. Gordon Ramsey’s arrangement of the song was recorded in 1958 by Nat King Cole for his album, The Very Thought of You. Subsequently, many others have recorded the song including Chet Baker, The Lettermen, Nancy Sinatra, Andy Williams, Ella Fitzgerald, Chris Montez and Bing Crosby. It has been a favorite of mine since childhood.
