Heart - Heart (1972) Full Album

Third and final album from Albuquerque band, Heart (nothing to do with the ones who sing “Barracuda“). By this point, the band had become a duo, with the only remaining members being lead vocalist/drummer Carl Silva and bassist Bob Barron. With the group now being a duo, Silva took on the role of keyboards, guitar, and also mouth harp, whereas Barron took on the role of guitar and slide guitar. Additional musicians credited are Roger “Loose Lip“ Jannotta (tenor, sax), Chuck “Smooth“ Kling Beil (organ), and Arnold “Stamp“ Bodmer (piano). Bodmer was previously in the band on piano duties, but I’m assuming he was given the role of an “additional musician“ because he most likely left the band before the album could finalize. Aside from the change in format, this band was also on a new label, Natural Resources, which was a division of the famous Motown. Previously, Heart was on King Records, and before that, Look Records. 0:00 I Want You 3:18 Just Tho
