The WAVE - World’s Largest Anamorphic Illusion

d’strict made use of a public electronic billboard in Seoul’s COEX Square. COEX is a convention and exhibition center that doubles as a gigantic mall. The WAVE building is located in the Gangnam-gu area in Seoul, which is the Korean version of New York’s Time Square. The location is also sometimes referred to as K-pop Square as the screen often features K-Pop content. The display the LED’s create, is called an anamorphic illusion or anamorphosis, which is a distorted projection that reveals itself once you occupy a specific vantage point.
