Commissioned to celebrate the great Russian author Alexander Pushkin’s 150th birthday, Two Pushkin Waltzes for Orchestra, Op. 120, was composed by Prokofiev in 1949 and first performed in 1952. Performing here is the Ukraine National Symphony Orchestra with Alexander Rudin on Cello and Theodore Kuchar conducting. Enjoy!
