210: Musee Studio Borealopelta Scene Statue (2022) Review

Borealopelta is probably the best preserved and my favourite nododsaurid. Those haunting images in black and white of the Borealopelta fossil captivated me, and it’s probably one of the very few fossils I would travel to see in person. In spite of being so well-known, or perhaps perversely, because of it, very few models have emerged. We had the CollectA, and then PNSO, and now we have this bigger tribute from Musee Studios. At a whopping 1:13 scale, this statue literally leaves nothing to the imagination, and everything, especially the armour, is very well sculpted and represented. Together with a good paint application, this one makes my very first Musee Studio offering a truly happy one. Hopefully, someone will make a good representation of Zuul the well-preserved ankylosaurid one day! Also, you might want to check out Paleonerd’s Borealopelta review here.
