This device is the M8 and it was designed and developed by Trash 80. Its based on the Music Tracking Software known as Little Sound DJ (LSDJ) for the Nintendo Gameboy. Instead of having two pulse channels, a waveform/sampling channel, and a noise channel, the M8 has 8 highly flexible and configurable channels. It has a really powerful sampling and synthesis engine (with chiptune waveforms, synth modes from the Mutable Instruments Braids Eurorack Module, and Sampling (the limits to which is only determined by the speed of your SD card), flexible modulation routing with two envelopes and a single LFO for each channel, built in effects routing, and a well-designed mixer. #portablesynth #m8tracker #tracker
