Felix Mendelssohn: Hebrides Overture

Francois Leleux, conductor Norwegian Chamber Orchestra Karin Køltzow, illustration 12 November 2019 the NCO and conductor / oboist Francois Leleux reunited to present some of the finest classics by Felix Mendelssohn in the University Aula, Oslo. The Hebrides Overture, which opened the concert, was performed in a cross-artform collaboration where, under the leadership of Leleux, the Norwegian visual artist Karin Køltzow was invited to explore the arresting beauties of the Hebrides through her imagery while the orchestra performed the overture.
