Steve Cotter IKFF – Dynamic Hip/Hamstring/Low Back Power Mobility
The hips do not work in isolation for the majority of movements. Rather, the hips work as a complex along with the glutes, lower back and hamstrings.
All of these tissues are composed of dense musculature. Sometimes the muscles are extremely tight, from years of hard labor, heavy lifting, sitting at desks, and/or insufficient flexibility and mobility training.
As a result, it can be near impossible for many people to adequately stretch the tissues of the hips, hamstrings and lower back
