Game Recap: Penguins vs. Lightning () | Penguins Record First Regulation Loss

The Penguins continued their homestand facing off against the Tampa Bay Lightning for the second time this season. Although there were no goals in the first period, the game was off to an exciting start with big hits, saves, and 7 combined penalties. Despite the Penguins best effort, the Lightning managed to score 3 goals in the 2nd period. In the 3rd period, Jason Zucker scored a power-play goal, but it wasn’t enough to defeat the Lightning with their two late empty net tallies, resulting in a 5-1 final score.
