Kopa and Vitani - REAL story

UPDATE:After the original release of The Lion King, there were various marketing products created, including a set of books that sequeled the movie. These books were about Simba and Nala’s cub Kopa, and other characters. When production on the Lion King II began, writers felt that a female would be a better change, and created Kiara, ignoring the books about Kopa. Zira didn’t kill Kopa, it’s just the most popular way for the fandom to tie up loose ends. The movie just ignores his existence. So i think that the good thing is Kopa survives.
