Video shows final moments before David Ben Avraham was shot dead by Israeli soldier

A video shows the final moments before David Ben Avraham, a Palestinian man who had converted to Judaism, was shot dead by an Israeli soldier in the occupied West Bank. Sixty-three-year-old Ben Avraham, born Sameh Zeitoun, was fatally shot on Thursday morning after a knife was reportedly found in his bag during a search. He was questioned by a reservist soldier about his identity and religion, and was instructed to raise his hands before being fatally shot. The incident took place at a bus stop near the Elazar settlement, one of a cluster of illegal settlements known as the Gush Etzion, south of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank. Ben Avraham reportedly converted to Judaism in honour of his grandfather, who had saved 25 Jews during the 1929 riots in Hebron.
