This tutorial is for a Chevron block which can be considered a step-sister to the Flying Geese block. The Sunset Over Dublin book provides great instructions to help make the block. This block uses the connecting corners technique. It wastes a little fabric but Nancy has found it works the best. Cut rectangles and background squares. Draw a diagonal on the background squares. Nancy shows how to sew on the diagonal line to piece a rectangle and background square together. Press, push the background square up, and press again. Trim away the extra fabric.
