С названием этих скал связана давняя ительменская легенда. В ней говорится, что, давным-давно, берег подвергался постоянным разрушениям из-за штормов. Морское божество резвилось тут в свое удовольствие, насылая огромные волны и разрушая поселения людей. Договориться с духами было невозможно. Тогда три брата-богатыря решили закрыть собой вход в бухту. Братья были сильны и мужественны, они вышли в залив и встали рядом, грудью защищая берег. Это не понравилось морскому божеству, он гневался - насылал свои мощные волны, но братья давали им отпор. Поняв, что победить их не удастся, морской бог превратил богатырей в скалы. Окаменев, богатыри не перестали защищать свою бухту и берег, где жили люди. Так и стоят они до сих пор каменными стражами. Красивая легенда придает особый флер этому памятнику природы. Им можно любоваться со специальной смотровой площадки или во время морской экскурсии. Legend. An old Itelmen legend is associated with the name of these rocks. It was impossible to agree with the spirits. Then three brothers-heroes decided to close the entrance to the bay. The brothers were strong and courageous, they went out into the bay and stood nearby, protecting the shore with their chest. The sea deity did not like this, he was angry - he sent his powerful waves, but the brothers fought them back. Realizing that it would not be possible to defeat them, the sea god turned the heroes into rocks. Having petrified, the heroes did not stop defending their bay and the coast where people lived. So they still stand as stone guards. A beautiful legend gives a special flavor to this natural monument. You can admire it from a special observation deck or during a sea excursion.
