Unusual and Strange Musical Instruments Compilation Part 3

Have a listen to some of the unusual instruments that I came across lately. Here´s some info to each instrument, followed by a link to the original video. #1 The khene is a Lao mouth organ whose pipes, which are usually made of bamboo, are connected with a small, hollowed-out hardwood reservoir into which air is blown. #2 The hurdy-gurdy is a stringed instrument that produces sound by a hand crank-turned, rosined wheel rubbing against the strings. The wheel functions much like a violin bow, and single notes played on the instrument sound similar to those of a violin.
