Me And My Pal (1932)

No title. Two young boys perform an acrobatic routine with a man of normal height. One of the boys is manhandled by the taller man who seems to grip him by the face and throw him to the other side of the stage. The boy pretends to cry. The boy is thrown around and balances on the man’s head. He again is shoved away by the man. This was obviously amusing at the time and is kind of amusing today in a freaky way! The boy is held in the air balancing his head on the man’s hand. An even smaller boy comes onto the stage (it is possible that he is a midget or dwarf). He takes off his hat and coat and is thrown around by the larger man. Slapstick acrobatics ensue. The pair do all sorts of weird acrobatics and end with the man doing a shoulder stand and the boy sitting on the man’s backside posing for the camera. This is seen in C/U. After more throwing around an intertitle reads: “Cheerio!“ and the three boys are carried off by the man, balancing on his body. Weird stuff but pretty impressive.
