Ukraine invasion: Eyewitness captures gas station explosion in Kherson Oblast

An explosion at a gas station in Kherson on Friday was captured on video by an eyewitness driving metres away from the scene. The driver of the vehicle, Valery Kuleshov, can be heard saying “plane” (in Russian) moments before the explosion occurred on Kindi highway. Reuters could not independently verify the cause of the explosion at the time of publication. However for verifying the location, the configuration of the buildings and road seen in the video matched satellite photography.
