Elliott Carter ~ “March“ from 8 Pieces for 4 Timpani

This is Elliott Carter’s famous timpani solo “March“, performed by Millard North High School senior Rohan Khazanchi at the 2013 Nebraska District Music Contest in Omaha, NE on April 20th, 2013. I received a Superior rating for this solo performance (without accidentally throwing any sticks this year! :P). Sorry about the sound/video quality, this was recorded on a small digital camera, so naturally it’s not too great!
