LIVE: La Palma volcano erupts forcing evacuations

Ruptly is live from La Palma in the Canary Islands on Tuesday, September 21, as the volcano in La Cumbre Vieja area continues to erupt. Following a week of seismic activity, the volcano erupted on Sunday leading authorities to start evacuating nearby villages. Soldiers have been deployed on the island to help with the evacuation. ​
