Rolling Along! (1929)

A fun looking gym class for children. L/S of children in pairs who roll towards the camera - the children hold each others’ ankles and do forward rolls. The girls are much better at it than the boys! Boys are dressed in white trousers and vests, the girls in dark shorts and vests. They do forward rolls along mats, boys on the left and girls on the right. “After “monkey rolls“ - hoopla“ the girls take turns in diving through a hoop. They perform a forward roll at the end and then stand up. Some of the boys perform standing somersaults.
