Riding Amtrak’s Crescent #19 from New York to Atlanta (8/8-9/2020)

Re-upload due to lagging error Tag along for the ride as I do another long-distance Amtrak ride onboard the Crescent #19 bound for New Orleans, though the final destination is Atlanta. Upon arriving into Penn Station, I would settle and hope all would go right except it almost didn’t. One of the ACS-64’s traction motors blew and had to restart four times between thus being stranded between Metropark and Edison, and being more than an hour behind schedule. I wasn’t really bothered once we were finally on the move for good. We would eventually make up time upon entering Charlotte and arrive in Atlanta 10 minutes early. Sit back and enjoy the scenes of the NS Cresent Corridor such as the Virginia sunset, the night skyline of Charlotte, and the sunrise over Georgia before pulling into the state capital on another Amtrak journey.
