Taiwan Earthquake: Strongest Quake In 25 Years Causes Damage | 10 News First

A powerful magnitude 7.4 earthquake in Taiwan has caused widespread damage, seeing two buildings collapse in the city of Taipei. Tsunami alerts were issued for Okinawa, Japan and the Philippines, however, Okinawa’s alert has since been changed to ’advisory’. The Pacific Tsunami Warning Centre has said the Tsunami threat has “largely passed“ with Taipei seismology authorities claiming it’s the worst earthquake since 1999.
