Canada? Story about seal hunting. Sailing from St. John’s to the ice fields. L/S of the deck of a ship. Men in galoshes and fishermen’s hats do a little dance on deck. L/S of ice packs. View from the ship of seals on the edge of an icy landscape by the sea. L/S of many, many men walking across the snowy landscape with clubs in their hands. Various shots of them clambering around on icebergs and snowy landscape. A seal is taunted with a stick. C/U of a baby seal. “Back to the ship - with the prizes.“ L/S of the men walking along dragging their prey. “But, we find the ice-pack has already closed in on us - we must dynamite our way out.“ L/S of the ship approaching. High angle of men digging holes in the ice and putting dynamite in the hole. M/S of an explosion.
