Meanwhile, my day job (NOT editing) puts me as a member of a Hollywood union; I’ve been picketing since May, please help support our cause! - Well, here it is. I had a couple videos in the works, but this is the one I’ve been focused on, and has been giving me a headache. I’m still not 100% happy with it, but I think it’s about as good as I ever will be. Season 2 essentially paralleled Gabriel and Beelzebub, far more than Nina and Maggie, and I wanted to showcase that. Essentially, their happy ending gave hope to Crowley and Aziraphale of their own happy ending, only for Metatron to come down with his stupid coffee and ruin everything. I also really wanted to get into their struggle with sides, and how Crowley and Aziraphale have created their own team - only for Aziraphale to end up “choosing“. It’s almost like a sequel to my video from 4 years ago, which is fitting. There was so much symbolism this season that I didn’t even manage to touch... It’d need to be a much longer video. Oh.
