’Where is French democracy?’: activists interrupt Macron’s speech in the Netherlands

France’s president, Emmanuel Macron, was opining on one of his favourite topics at The Hague, when activists made an intervention criticising the state of French democracy. Another chimed in: ’Why did you bypass [the] French parliament?’ in reference to the controversial pensions bill his government recently passed.
