Азбука Александра Бенуа 1904 г The Russian ABC’s from 1904. These beautiful “Alphabet in Pictures“ were designed by Alexandre Benois, who was from St. Petersburg. He was an influential artist, art critic, historian and preservationist. He was also the founding member of Mir iskusstva (World of Art), an art movement and magazine. He also designed for the Ballets Russes under S. Diaghilev. Music: The Sugar Plum Fairy from “The Nutcracker“ by P. Tchaikovsky
