Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Thursday accused western organisations and nations of being “weak” in the face of civilian deaths in Gaza caused by Israeli attacks and called on Muslim nations to display unity against Israel’s actions. The president, a vocal critic of Israel’s actions in Gaza, made the comments at a meeting of the 10-member Economic Cooperation Organization in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
