Ian Clarke (1964–) is a British flutist and composer. He is a professor of flute at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. This piece, Maya, is written for two flutes and piano. Based on an early work ‘Passage’ 1986 (Clarke/Hicks/Painter) it was rewritten & arranged by Ian Clarke in its current form in 2000 with first publication in 2001.
