The Lincolnshire Ramble - Clive Carroll

Hello, Clive here... ’The Lincolnshire Ramble’ was written in early 2020 whilst I was walking the Lincolnshire coastline as part of my Coastal Walk of Great Britain. The bpm suggests the hiking speed and the various melody lines reflect certain characters I met along the way - including my mate Mad Damian, a guy who loved Eric Clapton, and a lady whom I met coming the other way who was also undertaking the coastal walk of Great Britain. I worked in a verse of ’the Lincolnshire Poacher’ as a nod to an epic late-night session in a pub ’somewhere’... This performance was filmed on 13th December 2021.
