Syria: Russia’s rise offers greater regional and global stability says Assad

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad touted Russia’s military presence in the eastern Mediterranean and around the world during an interview in Damascus, Thursday, saying that it has brought necessary balance to the post-Soviet world.
