They had played on the Ed Sullivan show twice before, and we did a cover for each of their performances: “I Saw Her Standing There“ and “This Boy“ To celebrate their 3rd week on Ed Sullivan we did a new studio cover of this great song. However, to save some time we took the bass and drums tracks from a live recording (played by Michael Mozeth and Philipp Wolf) that we did back in 2013. We then added the guitars, harp and all the voices at our studio :) We decided to change the words just a tiny bit, so it would make more sense for us (being girls) to sing it.
