The band formed in Tokyo, Japan in 1986. The band consists of founding members Yoshiko Fujiyama (vocals, guitar) ,her sister Sachiko Fujiyama (drums) and long-time bassist Akiko Omo. The band took its name from each decade during the twentieth century that inspired their sound and look. As much as they enjoy traditional 1950s rock ’n’ roll, they also like 1950s and 1960s girl groups, including the Ronettes and the Shangri-Las.
