How to make a light hour glass: DIY LED Hour Glass | Arduino Projects

In this video we describe how to make a light hour glass. This hour glass doesn’t necessarily tell time but it reacts to movement just like a real hour glass and it really does look like sand is dropping from the top portion of it. There were a lot of memory limitations with the arduino we used, but the animations are good enough to simulate the movement of sand in a rainbow pattern.
