Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - 1987 World Figure Skating Championships, Pairs’ Long Program - Ekaterina Gordeeva and Sergei Grinkov of the Soviet Union won the Long Program, which included a split-quadruple twist lift (the 2nd pair ever to perform this in competition), and ended up winning their second World Title.
