Nakba 2023: Israel’s Plan to ‘Thin Out’ Gaza Population & Suppress West Bank

At least 254 Palestinians have been killed in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem since Oct. 7th, including 57 children, along with more than 3,300 who have been injured. Mariam Barghouti, a Journalist and Policy Analyst based in Ramallah, explains how the Israeli military and illegal settlers are unleashing a second Nakba, or Palestinian expulsion, in the West Bank. Mirna El Helbawi - Telecommunication services have been cut off in the Gaza Strip. The telecoms provider Paltel said the bombardment caused “complete disruption” of internet, cellular and landline services, plunging Gaza’s 2.3 million people into further isolation as Israel continues its genocidal campaign. Jehan Hakim - The Yemeni Armed Forces announced that it had launched two direct attacks on Israeli ships in the Bab Al-Mandab Strait off Yemen’s coast on December 3. The spokesperson for the Forces said that the attacks were in response to the demands of the Yemeni people and the “free people of our Arab and Islamic nation, to stand fully with the choices of the Palestinian people and their steadfast resistance.” Jehan Hakim, Chair of the Yemeni Alliance Committee, explains how Israel’s genocide in Gaza is impacting Yemen’s role in the region. Omar Baddar - Following the temporary “humanitarian pause” of the bombardment on Gaza, Israel has intensified airstrikes and ground attacks, killing more than 800 Palestinians in just 48 hours. The total number of Palestinians killed in Gaza since October 7 has surpassed 15,800 Palestinians and at least 41,316 Palestinians have been injured. Omar Baddar, a Palestinian-American political analyst based in Washington, DC, breaks down the latest developments in the Israeli onslaught of Gaza.
