Click Here: Queen - The Show Must Go On - cover - Sara Loera - Ken Tamplin Vocal Academy Sara Loera has shown she can sing anything we throw at her and today she’ll continue to demonstrate that as she takes on Freddie Mercury and Queen’s “The Show Must Go On“. Written by Brian May, the song details Freddie’s attempt to continue to perform even as he was nearing the end of his life. Freddie was so sick at the time of the recording that May was apparently unsure if he would be able to do the track. However Freddie was able to muster the strength to complete the song, with May stating “he went in and killed it, completely lacerated that vocal“. The song was released as a single just 6 weeks before Freddie passed and following his death, it re-entered the British charts peaking at number 16 and staying in the top 75 for 5 weeks. The song was played live for the first time the following year at the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert where it was performed by Elton John, the 3 remaining members of Queen and Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi.
