Newspaper reporter Sally Quinn joined “The CBS Morning News“ on August 6, 1973, to co-anchor with Hughes Rudd. This clip contains excerpts from the first broadcast. Quinn was not successful in making a transition from print journalism to television news. She left the Morning News in February 1974. All rights are acknowledged.
