Who’s Packing The Most Iconic Facial Hair? The history of Hollywood is a history of innovation. From the primitive but dazzling cinematic experiments of the Lumière Brothers and Georges Méliès, through the myriad technical leaps of the 20th century such as Industrial Light and Magic’s pioneering effects work, to the stunning fantasy landscapes created by Weta Digital, film and TV have rarely stood still. There is always a new innovation, something else to push the medium forward and make the spectacle more realistic, more entertaining and more memorable. But let’s not forget that sometimes it’s the small things that can really make an iconic picture. It’s not necessarily the million-pound CGI effect. It could be something as simple as some grease paint slapped on an upper lip. Or even something that the actor has grown themselves. We talk, of course, about facial hair. Specifically, moustaches. Yes! For too long, the glorious moustache has gone unsung. So we’re here to put a stop to that.
