The BEST Benchtop Router Table For Small Workshops and Beginner Woodworkers
Adding a portable router table that I can clamp down to my benchtop and remove when not in use is a huge efficiency gain for me and it doesn’t take up any valuable floor space. This router table also makes a great second table if there’s a full size router table in the shop and I need to use multiple bits and don’t want to be constantly changing out bits.
This table uses a trim router (compact router) and a baseplate which drops into the table through the top instead of being screwed into the bottom. This allows me to remove the router with the baseplate as one piece and immediate use it outside of the table. The table also features a fence with incredible dust collection.
