ORTHODOX - Painting Video

The idea behind the paintings was to have a physical representation of both ’Body’ & ’Soul’. Ryan Rado is an artist that we’ve admired for a long time, and as we were discussing artwork ideas, we started looking through our friends who work with abstract imagery. Ryan had recently started sharing commission videos where he’d start a timer for 30 seconds, and once those 30 seconds were finished - the piece was complete. We took that idea, and asked if he’d be willing to do two paintings reacting to the song itself. What followed is the video you’ll see here. In 3 minutes and 50 seconds: Ryan, using oils, hand painted two 24x36 canvases which we used for the album art. No edits. No revisions.
